Writing Portfolio
My previous book, Brujeres, was published in Spanish in 2021. Currently, I am working on my first two novels in the English language, alongside a series of creative essays reflecting on our work, findings, and methodologies within the National Immersive Venue Network. My fiction work is highly atmospheric, psychologically driven, and deeply influenced by English literature as well as South American and Japanese magical realism. I treat storytelling as primary inspiration for all my other work; the same narrative pacing and world-building found in my writing work inspire my installation and exhibition design, allowing physical space to unfold like a story.

Collage by Cèlia Domínguez Hernàndez to illustrate 'Home as a Lullaby'
"I was born in a place of clashing cultures, and yet, like countless others, I desperately tried to balance myself between them, stumbling into a dance that dared to dream itself graceful but was nothing more than unsure steps along a tightrope." - Extract from Home as a Lullaby, Writing Piece Commissioned by Watershed as part of their Writing Home Programme
