Artist Statement
My photographic practice is a quiet, intimate dialogue with nature. Rather than capturing expansive, grand landscapes, my lens seeks out overlooked details, moments of absolute peace, and the subtle interplay of texture and light that others may often pass by. The resulting image is as important as the act of walking, observing and forging those moments. The composition of these photographs is profoundly influenced by East Asian aesthetics, particularly traditional landscape painting, where harmony in asymmetry, the reverence for natural forms, and the concept of atmosphere as protagonist guides the composition.
